The CGMA Invitational is the premier golf event for members of the Coast Guard community. The four-day, nationwide event is open to all members of the Coast Guard community including Active Duty, Reserve, Retired, Civilian Personnel, Auxiliary, and their families and guests. The world class recreational event serves to promote camaraderie amongst past, present, and future Coast Guardsmen with proceeds benefitting the work of CGMA.
Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA) is a 501(c)(3) headquartered in Arlington, VA. Serving as the official aid society for the United States Coast Guard, CGMA’s mission is to enable financial resiliency within the Coast Guard Community. Each of CGMA’s grant and interest-free loan programs are purposefully designed to ensure that short term financial challenges do not become chronic financial problems. In 2022, CGMA fulfilled more than 5,400 requests for financial help and provided over $6.7 million in support — an average of $1,230 per request. Since its inception in 1924, CGMA has provided over $230 million in direct assistance to the Coast Guard community.

The annual
Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA) Invitational Golf Tournament will be held from 15-18 November 2023 at Barefoot Resort & Golfin North Myrtle Beach, SC.
The tournament consists of 54 holes of medal play (Wednesday – Friday) and a “Team Scramble” event on Saturday.

Onsite accommodations may be added during registration. Additional rounds of golf and additional nights lodging are available at discounted rates. Discounted registration is available for Active Duty personnel, E-6 and below and Civilian employees GS-7 and below. Members may also reach out to their local unit MWR representatives to inquire about the CSC Sports Grant program defined in the MWR Manual, Enclosure 11.
Registration Details
Registration opens 4 July 2023 through 14 October 2023, or until the field is full, and is limited to 240 participants. Entries received after that date will be accepted on a space-available basis.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made prior to 22 September 2023, will receive a 100% refund.
Cancellations received between 23 September 2023 and 13 October 2023, will receive a 60% refund.
For cancellations received on or after 14 October 2023, refunds will not be permitted.
