Ways to Give

Since 1924, CGMA has proudly served the Coast Guard community. We invite you to join us in Helping Our Own with a donation that is meaningful to you. With your support, Mutual Assistance will provide direct financial assistance to help ease the burdens and relieve the financial strain for Coast Guard members in need. CGMA does not receive any government funding. We rely on your contributions, along with loan repayments and investment income. Thank you for giving as generously as you can!

Allotment / Payroll Deduction

Active Duty, Retirees, and Civilian Employees can donate by allotment. Donating a little each pay period is a quick and easy way to support shipmates in need. Simply complete a CGMA pledge form to start or change your contribution.

Legacy Gift / Planned Giving

Extend compassion with a future gift. Including a gift to CGMA in your estate plans, either as a bequest or trust, or beneficiary of a retirement plan or insurance policy, is a powerful way to leave a legacy and demonstrate your commitment to the families and members who are serving or have served in the Coast Guard.

Donate Stock

When you gift stocks and other securities directly to a charity, you make an outsized impact without taking money directly out of your bank account. Plus, neither you nor the charity will be taxed on the gains for appreciated assets you donate.

Meet your giving goals, enjoy potential tax benefits, and contribute to the change you want to see. That’s a triple-win.

Memorial or Tribute Gift

A tribute gift is an excellent way to honor the service and dedication of an individual who has been a special part of your life while supporting the men and women of the U.S Coast Guard.
