Federal Parent Loans for Undergraduate Students (PLUS)

Federal PLUS Loans are available to all CGMA clients who are PARENTS OF DEPENDENT UNDERGRADUATE students enrolled at least on a half-time basis. Independent students and post-graduate students are not eligible for PLUS loans.

Parents may borrow the cost of education per child per academic school year, less other financial aid received. Parents wishing to borrow under this program must demonstrate evidence of credit-worthiness to be eligible for this loan.

The interest rate for Federal PLUS Loans is an annual variable rate set by Congress. For the current interest rates or more detailed information on PLUS Loans, please contact:
